# Motion Decision Framework

Before animating a shot:

1. What must the viewer notice?
2. What is the primary action?
3. What anticipates it?
4. What follows through?
5. What overlaps?
6. What is the timing?
7. What easing communicates the intended weight?
8. Does the movement follow an appropriate arc?
9. What secondary motion supports it?
10. What should be exaggerated?
11. Does the scene preserve spatial/physical logic?
12. Does the final movement have character?

ANTICIPATION

Secondary elements should overlap this sequence
rather than move simultaneously.
